True, biological men can and will never be women, and vise versa. there really is no more to this debate. saying anything else is literally like insisting 2+2=5. if you want to larp as the opposite gender, that's your right; but you're still biologically the same.
Facts..don't care about your FEELINGS!
Transgender is a load of SHIT!
I'm sorry you feel that way.
Interesting fact: all embryos start out as female until certain androgens are processed to develop male or intersex genitalia. The vagina is essentially the template and the penis is essentially the mutation, but they share a lot of structural similarities. I can provide a few links on the topic; it really is fascinating. Either way, it's clear that neither sex, nor gender, nor gender identity exist in a binary system (boy or girl), but rather on a wide spectrum. To any other transgender (binary or nonbinary) individuals in this group who are reading this: You are valid!
@B oh wow that's just straight up wrong. intersex is only .05% of the population. whoever told you 2% is a propagandist. and no, embryos are not considered female by default even during early stages. the difference between sex and gender was very recently made distinct, for the bulk of human history were considered synonymous. to be honest, the distinction is made for political reasons, not biologically sound ones. with the exception of the .05% anomalies, there is only XX or XY gender/ sex configurations. male and female. no amount of buzzwords refute this truth. but like I said, I don't think it's wrong to present as you wish, but you can't change biology. That's straight up hubris.
@the spirit of mankind It's actually between 0.018 - 1.7%, yes, depending on the definition or which doctor/medical journal you ask/read. They are not anomalies. They are people. You claim to not think it's wrong to present any way that you want, but this clearly isn't the case. You and other transphobic people are the reason that varied gender expression is met with violence and oppression, but you don't seem to care about that. Also, the idea that this is all new and completely politically-motivated is absolutely incorrect. Gender is a social construct that varies across different societies/cultures, as I said before. It's easy to look up, but, unfortunately, due to colonization, a lot of those traditions or ideals were squashed or demonized by Western colonials. Even still, gender and gender roles vary and have varied from culture to culture throughout history. Just like I said in the BLM forum, this isn't a debate. You clearly don't care that transgender people face discrimination because you continue to invalidate the gender non-conforming community, despite scientific consensus. I hope that you are able to educate yourself and acknowledge your own hubris on concepts that you do not fully understand in order to become more open-minded in the future.
@B .018-1.7% is a massive range, and 1.7% is a lie. I despise people like you, so very undereducated yet throw around buzzwords in lieu of real education. "Anomaly" is a scientific term to describe statistical improbability. It's not a dirty word you SJW. It doesn't matter what some tribal culture painted on a wall 500 years ago, it doesn't mean anyone can alter their biology. Your hubris of declaring "this isn't a debate" when you've obviously lost is enough of a concession for me. Everything else you said is not relevant and does not refute my previous post, which still stands as the meta of our debate. Go ahead and keep hating real science for being discovered by White people though. I know you will, being a hateful low IQ black racist. Love and truth WILL win, even if it's losing for now.
Hello. Actual transgender (nonbinary) person here. Sex, gender, and gender identity are separate concepts. Sex is biological, and it includes male, female, and intersex. Gender is a social construct, sometimes based on biological and physiological characteristics. However, different societies/cultures have various levels of gender diversity. For example, Native Americans have two-spirit, India has Hijra, Mexico has Muxe/Muxhe, etc. Gender identity is a person's inherent sense of gender or lack thereof, either regardless of, in spite of, or because of their sex or social gender. I can go into more detail if necessary.
