No,students don't need to wear uniforms to school because
1.they wont to express there self's in many ways with colors
2.Besides of people saying"its good to wear uniforms to stop bullying but guess what it doesn't work you can still get bullied either way based on your appearance, your height or you skin color.
3. School uniforms are so expensive instead of wasting your time buying uniforms you should think about buying cute outfits or cute shoes.
4. there are so many rules for uniforms shirt tucked in,always wear a belt, wear matching socks to many rules to follow and easy to break
In my ways, students can or cannot wear but without the uniforms you won't who belong to the specific school. And there should be a proper haircut that all!!!.........
As per me...
And sometimes if the school takes you to a field trip you can't identify the student of that school keep that in your minds!!!!!!!!!
in my opinion on field trips we need name tags or a special T-shirt that can identify the school..
but haircuts......No!! people love their hair whats the point of changing it
Look schools do whatever they want, if you don't want to go to a school with a uniform don't go there, but there should at least be a choice for parents, they should be able to chose between schools with or without uniforms, if that's not possible, I'd say NO UNIFORMS because there is no proof that uniforms actually give a benefit to the children wearing them. There probably are as much advantages as disadvantages to wearing a uniform compared to not wearing one. So both of them don't matter
I disagree. The reason why there are school uniforms is to avoid any kind of inequality and favouritism between the students. Say if I am from a rich family and I got the best outfit in school and i have the most expensive jewellery, all the other students would get jealous and sooner or later everyone is gonna become materialistic and lose their real purpose on why they come to school in the first place- education. Not only that, uniforms also save people's time as you may know many of us usually take time in the morning to choose a nice outfit for the day. School uniform is quick and easy to put on, if you wanna look good maybe you can do you hair nicely and wear some cute earrings and maybe a little natural looking makeup like mascara or blush to look presentable, and wear some perfume or deodrant to smell nice. Its not whether school uniform benefits the children or not, it just avoids materialism and reminds the pupils that they are coming to school to learn and if they wanna focus only on their attire they can wear their best in the weekends when they go out, or be patient because in college they will allow them to wear whatever they want, or go to another school if its that bothersome. However, there should be a balance, schools should allow some special days like christmas or whatever to wear non school uniform.
@Kitzz there is no proof that uniforms prevent materialism, materialism is not a bad view on life either, it is just seen as a shallow view on things but thats not a reason for it to be prohibited, people do whatever they want, you can't force someone's mindset. The part about inequality and fabouritism is true but as I said uniforms do not prevent this from happening, if you go to a school with uniforms you will still find people being bullied over e.g. Skin, or facial traits, it's part of survival of the fittest, if you don't assert your dominance as a child, anothet kid will and you may fall victim to certain situations of inequality, the argument that uniforms are solving or atleast avoiding this, is incorrect.
@ChromeDreamer
That is true, materialism is not exactly a bad thing. But too much of it is. And its true school uniform cannot prevent some of the usual bullying over skin or facial traits, however it does play a part in making it slightly better, but that's not the point. School uniform's Job is not to prevent bullying of course that is the parents as well as the school education's jobs, what I am trying to say is that school uniform allows the child to feel a little more at ease in school as they would not be as distracted. Bullying is a whole other subject though, its true that children must assert dominance and also tolerate others.
I come from the country that most of the schools still command students to wear the uniform. They give reasons like to avoid inequality and to discipline students to focus on their studying not the fashion stuffs. But I think the outfit has nothing to do with neither student’s performance nor reduce the gap of inequality among them except it make them look like the same in the term of identity. It is just useful for defining the role of them as “students” to be part of hierarchical community.
No studet should not wear uniforms to school!
They should not because a student could get pulled into the office while they are having a class and that is just taking thats students learning time which is also a lack of education!
Kids should get to express therselves and be glowing everywhere. Everyone should get to show the world thier sense of fashion!
People could get judged by how the look in thier uniforms and also a lot of peple can not afford uniforms and go to school and get dress coded!
I have made my points and I hope they are clear and are understandable!
