What are your views on the Black Lives Matter Movement ?

I am not for or against blm. But I do think you saying that if you do not support it then you are a bad person. There are many good people who are neutral in the matter that are good people. You saying good or bad is your opinion. you are just being a monothinker when you say that.

normal people don’t go into neighborhoods, to threaten, cause chaos, destruction and even commit murder and call it repatriation. . Normal people contact their local politicians with their concerns and have peaceful conversations. The entire police departments of inner cities should NEVER be held accountable for one man’s actions. Working class Black communities need and WANT police presence to uphold the law. It is the ignorant and criminals that want to see them abolished. YOU are evidently in one of those categories

@Lee Scott I never said I wanted to defund the entire PD, that would be crazy. We do however need serious reform as the people who pledged to protect our citizens are killing innocent people without consequence. If a few doctors were killing people, those doctors would be fired, so should police officers. A great example of this would be the case of Breonna Taylor. A woman who had her life taken from her by murderous cops who haven't even been charged for her murder yet. When something like that happens how could you not agree that that institution needs reform? Im also a white man and I have never been jugged for my skin color, I don't say that to discredit your situation, but just to point out that that is not a common thing. I do believe that you are racist if you don't support the BLM movement because what other reason would you have to be against a movement for equality than not wanting equality. You are currently contributing to the racism in this country, it is not just your ancestors, you said yourself you do not support BLM, blaming your ancestors for your racism is a coward move. Obviously all lives matter, but not all lives are in jeopardy right now, black lives are, and that is what the movement is trying to stop. You say you would never try to oppress a minority group but you are actively doing so right now but not supporting the movement for racial equality. We realize that all lives matter, and that is why we believe that black lives should be included in the statement all lives matter, because right now, to our country, they do not.

@Lule Flatt There are parts of this argument that we can agree and compromise on, but the personal attacks are not cool. I did say that there needs to be reform and there needs to be stricter policies and punishment for officers who act out of line. I never even had direct ancestors from the south during the time of slavery. My most of my family came from Europe in the early 20th century with a small part being Native Americans (Also a group discriminated against and still is). You have no right to call me a racist and coward without knowing me as an individual. That is exactly why I will not join a racist and corrupt movement. If you have to put a color in front of All Lives Matter than you are a racist.
