Hmm havent given this much thought but off the top of my head but would you also agree that it drives success and pushes people to greater things and be better? I am curious what would be destructive about it?
Competitive nature is human nature. Thats history not science so it can be changed. History rewards the so called winners but it also regulates the so called losers to second class status. Then the losers rise up to revolt. Then you have conflict. Competition imulates supports and perpetuates warfare.
If you are Irish you know all to well the consequences of having a so called winner make your life difficult. The Mexicans, the Irish, the Poles have all had to endure the arrogance of a rude aggressive nieghbor who makes a stupid claim to "the victorious fruits of destiny"
See thats what your not getting that stuff did not happen to ME. Yes I am proud of my ancestry and history of my people but I do not know what it was like to be them and neither do black people these days because they were not there..
The real issue is not who was and was not there. The real issue is how what happened then affects people now. Eurocentric imperialism has had a vast effect on you and I. Because these societies placed very little value on compassion and a nurturing of the environment, today our technology spews filth, enhances war power and also becomes a implement of racism to maintain and promote the social order. This I believe is why you have many commentators on venues such as Fox News or The Epoch Times and of course many sucessful podcasters literally chastising mostly the left and minorities for the playing of the so called race card. This is once again literally the white race card. To try to abolish the racism discussion so you don't have to contend the consequences of racisms history. The Trad right acts like pampered infants who simply want the issue to go away. That is the essence of 21st century racism. Smile a goofy smile, put a silly Maga hat on a person of color and tell them how lucky they are to live in a great society while simultaneously turning a back to places like Baltimore. Meanwhile you promote a system of military intervention by way of war to guarantee that the people of color overseas also comply.
There is no evidence of anything you just said....If anyone should be helping black communities it is Black Lives Matter but instead they just choose to blame whites and the police instead of discouraging black on black violence and living like a criminal. How does technology implement racism? We chastise the left for playing the race card because that is all that they do is pretend to be victims. I think we can all agree that bitching and whining about being a victim does not fix anything no matter what problems you believe to exist. Us whites try to avoid the racism discussion because all you guys do is insult, demean us, and de-platform us instead of having rational conversations about it. Maybe if you guys did not start a conversation with calling us racists that are not aware that they are racist we could find some common ground.
Technology doesn't spawn racism. Racism spawned a society that based its philosophy on industrial innovation without first consideration of how to make it adaptable to a healthy environment. European society placed its value system on elite power, war policies to expand power and machinery to expand war power. These machines were mechanically effective but they spewed filth. They created industrial workplaces that were horrendous and created a society of people whose lives were empty. When young mens lives are empty its very easy to get them to join the military and enhance the industrial complex that supports it as it expands the Empire and gives the Empire vast amounts of stolen spoils of war. The people of the Empire are afforded a decent enough life however as the wealth center attains greater distance from the Empire so does the living atandard. The subjects living in the outer regions of the Empire today form what is known as the third world. That is how the 3rd world was formed rather than regional corruption.
Damn dude I think we bounce subjects around too much lol.
You're viewing competition with too much generalization. If two people are trying to get a job, the person who is more qualified would get the job in a merit system and the loser would go and get a worse job. This system works because we get the best people for a job doing said job. Yes, competition creates conflict, but there is no way to create a system of merit that creates the best people doing jobs without having conflict. What you are suggesting would lead to a breakdown of society and probably soviet-esque starvation.
Competition is a huge pyramid scheme. At the base we have the nots, at the pinnacle the haves. Closer to the pinnacle you have people equally or superior to those at the pinnacle. Then why are the superior not AT the pinnacle. Because the scramble for the pinnacle becomes a mad dash of by any means necessary method. Deceit, Lying, collusion and sometimes even murder exist to obtain the pinnacle. You don't get the best. You get the best at being ruthless. Those near the pinnacle utilize minions to advance their pursuit of power wealth and legacy. This requires war to be the organizing principle. Those poor soldiers at the base basically get attrited. Realizing they have been pawned they claim allegiance to another close to the pinnacle to gain vengeance for being pawned. The process becomes stalled when somebody enters the game with the hand of a nuke. We really don't know yet how that part ends but it makes me think that a little more co-operation and a little less competition would have spared us the threshold of nukes.
No matter where you go, what you do, SOMEONE, will be better than you. Competition helps keep us humble and hungry to accomplish more, quit thinking like the last place person, start thinking of improving performance to rank better in the scoreboards.
Competition roots the weak out from the strong. If you have no will to work and are not sucsessful at tasks and are still given things in life its Communism. "Winners" are people who work hard and refine their talents for sucsess. It sounds like this is just the complaints of someone who is losing.
Competition doesn't necessarily "root the weak out from the strong," but instead roots the less advantaged out from the more advantaged. Those with more opportunities for success don't have to put in as much effort as those with less opportunities. Thus creating the misconception that the less advantaged are simply lazy.
There is a diffrence between opressed and competition. If a group of people are not given fair chances to compete for sucsess its clearly unethical and wrong. However if you do have the oprrotunites and cannot compete it makes it to where you dont waste other peoples time and resources. Therfore rooting the weak from the strong.
