Absolutely not. I think email and other services have saved many lives. Almost everything is digital now. Supermarkets, banks, news, entertainment, so much of it relies on near instant communication. There is no going back
I do believe that the purpose of phones has been clouded with the rise of mobile gaming, but I don't think that's a bad thing. There are settings on most smartphones to where you can restrict apps and make it just for calling and texting. The reason phones were invented was to speed up the process of delivering messages, but by going back to mail we would lose speed and efficiency in delivering messages.
Personally, I don't think thats a great idea. The purpose of phones was so we could communicate with each other without having to wait a long time. Also if we still had phones, whats the purpose of writing a letter?
