The idea that Andrew Neil "destroyed" Ben Shapiro is subjective. I believe Ben did not do a good job of maintaining a civil conversation but I also do not believe he lost overall just because of that. All of his points are valid points he just fucked up in his delivery appearing to lose. Let me give you a little perspective; I am 28, I do not have a high school diploma because I suck at Algebra (missing one class Algebra 2), I had to start from scratch when my father died and move to Las Vegas with no family or friends and now I am and Armed Security Supervisor for a Casino planning on going into Law Enforcement soon. What I know after growing up listening to rap (still do) because I love the music which helped me to deal with a lot of problems while I grew up. And becoming a rapper myself I used to hate the police. But now that I am older and have much experience working with the police and doing a similar job but on a smaller scale, I have come to realize that this idea of white people are not cool, racist, and are trying to dominate the world is very wrong. The first dumbest reason that this idea is not reasonable is that just because the people that lead the country are of a certain skin color does not mean that has to be racism driven. Of course anything is possible, but when white Americans are the majority then it is more likely that they will hold certain positions. You bring up things that African Americans have been denied but you never state the reason the government gave for the denial and also many people of different races are denied things from the government all the time. Another is that spreading more insults and hatred to another race is not the way to fix racism it only causes more friction, depression, and suicides. I don't know where you grew up but in Los Angeles I was definitely not the majority as a white man. Every black person I ever met while in school with the exception of one was bullying and making fun of kids that were white saying things like "I bet your mom wants this black dick" or "Shut the **** up you don't have any problems your white stop crying". And if a white kid tried to hang out with them they just would give him the extra cold shoulder not explicitly stating it is because he is white but come on....we all know why when everyone in your group of friends is black. That's the other thing they would only hang out with black people. Nowadays it is not as bad because they use white kids that want nothing more but to have friends to get money from them or use them to get out of trouble somehow especially if you live in the ghetto which I did for a long time. I know you are going to say these are all theories but things like this are only proven via word of mouth. I have had black Security Officers working under my supervision confirm these things as true to me as well. I have also had black Security Officers who turned on me because they are racist. I had a guy (a black guy ironically) that by gaming law I had to take his 10 dollars because he did not have an ID and i could not know if the funds were legally obtained or obtained by a minor. So he starts to come at me yelling and making threats, my S/O who is a black girl comes over and gets between us. Then a dumbass Manager gave him his money anyway because she was intimidated and ended up getting fired for it. After the fact the guy apologized to me (because he got his way) and my Officer responded to him by stating to me "Well ya hes gunna get mad you tried to take a black mans money". The saddest part of it was that all he had to do was bring in a valid ID and we would give his 10 bucks back but he wouldn't even listen long enough to hear that because he was to busy pulling the race card. Any interaction I have with a black person of which I need to ask them to do something they respond by pulling out the race card. And I am talking about things that are just normally expected of people like providing Security with your ID while gaming in a casino. I have met many reasonable black people as well but I have met way way more unreasonable ones and almost every day in my line of work. You act like personal experience does not count for anything but it really does. It would be different if I was just a keyboard warrior in my moms basement but I actually have hands on experience dealing with the public for over 10 years and I am trusted to carry a firearm, supervise my team, and protect them everyday while on my property. I apologize for being so lengthy but I wanted to get my perspective across to you and show where I am coming from even though I may not be well educated in the free market and resources I know how to recognize a problem when I see it and nothing you say to me can excuse the ignorant and racist behavior that these people get away with everyday and if you speak against it you are "alt-right" or racist. So I want to give you one more example of the racism I have experienced and this is the one that really brought me over away from the left. So working Security on the Las Vegas strip I was giving first aid to a black man who is a friend of ours that fell down the escalator and cracked his head open and we were waiting for the paramedics. As I am waiting I look up and notice a crowd of black people forming around us with cell phones. They then start screaming things like "I hope you burn you in hell you racist ****!" "How dare you crackers beat up some poor black man!" so now its been about 30 minutes of this and there is at least 25 people around us and the paramedics still haven't shown up. I call the paramedics and they said that the fire department cleared because they were unable to locate us. WELL SHIT I WONDER WHY?? So I ended up having to force the poor guy to walk up the street with blood pouring out his head to the Harmon Medical Center and get help which I do not know if he made it because I never saw him again. SO my question to you is at what point does racism toward white people become a problem? Because it already causes depression, anxiety, possibly causes mass shootings, and incidents like the one above where they might have actually killed one of their own people and a dear friend of mine.
