The reason it is considered a double homicide (which it is but rarely happens) can be for two reasons, the baby is already positioned to be birthed (<7 months in the mother, when it is fully formed and no longer a clump of cells) or because the fetus (which is called an embryo at this stage and is nothing but a clump of cells at this stage) has been taken from the mother without her consent or knowledge. Therefor, that does not mean the fetus is a living thing, unless it is about to be birthed, but after the first 2 months you cannot get an abortion, so the evidence is invalid and doesn't really prove @Kylee Prescott 's point.
