I don't get it. Do you guys have an open plane bathrooms in US schools? Whre I live, a bathroom could be packed, but we have something called stalls, and I wouldn't even know who occupies them. Unless I'm some pervert who tries to sneak a peek, but I could do that regardless of gender, sexual preference, or what have you. I sometimes think that USA citizens are thriving on making an issue out of something marginal.. to avoid looking into the real issues within their society, perhaps?

The problem is - wearing a mask yourself isn't as efficient as everyone around you wearing it. "I worry about my health, so I wear a mask, it will protect me" is not how it works. How it does is - "I worry about everyone's health, so I wear a mask, so even if I'm sick, I at least protect others" Now, I'm sure you understand that the second point of view has to be enforced on your dumbass fellow Americans, because there's way to many people who just think, fuck it, if I'm sick, at least I'm gonna spread it to everyone else. Speed limit infringes upon your freedom, so you don't kill people. Stopping you from spreading your germs around works on the same principle

You need to grow up ther in your precious US of A. Do you realize you are the only country in the world with a persistent gun violence issue? I'm talking civilized countries, not warzones or Africa. You know how you defend yourself in Europe? Call the authorities, which you're paying for through taxes. And since it is really hard to own a gun around here, most of the times you don't need to worry you're gonna get shot. You'd have to be in cahoots with some really shady people to run such risk. So, dear Americans - give up your guns, fund police training instead of arms race with your own folk, and I promise you'd be better

Why make a distinction? God AND evolution for me. I see no reason to take Bible literally. Never had a question asked at school "What did author mean by that?" Bible's all parables to show us how to behave, not a science book. Old testament shouldn even count for Christians, as it is a bronze-age tribe book to keep the tribe strong together. Only parts of it have any moral value nowadays. New testament is far more advanced ethically, and is a great starting point of any moral discussion. Still not a science book, though.
