@Brian Cevallos the thing is, a fetus is not part of a woman's body, it has different DNA, different fingerprints l, and sometimes even a different gender! But seriously, the big difference in our arguments is that prolifers believe a fetus is not just a regular organ belonging to her, but another entity with its own programming, prochoicers on the other hand, as you've said yourself, the fetus is part of a woman's body and so is therefore like any other part of her body, something she can dispose of or care for as she sees fit. So let's debate that, is the fetus a life?

@Franky Acosta Shouldn't the welfare of others be a personal responsibility? Big governments and their policies are almost always slow, ineffective, and inefficient, often times, as I've seen it, the policies hold people back. I don't think it should all be expected of the government to take care of us . As individuals with something to give it should be our responsibility to help those who could benefit from us. Then it is personal and tailored much more to people's needs.

@Franky Acosta I also have benefitted from welfare, and I agree with everything you said, except, "welfare is not only necessary but good for a country" that point is, ahem, debatable.

Well true in the sense of number in popular votes, but wrong in the case that the electoral college protects states smaller in population from the overwhelming population of a state like Californiaa and Texas, it works kinda like the representatives in the senate.

@Franky Acosta Taxing the rich with a higher percentage actually oppresses both parties. Say the rich get even higher taxes, the money will be spent in gov't programs like welfare, food stamps, and of course the regular, military, salary for gov't workers, schools, etc. But I'm going to focus on the gov't helping out people economically. When the gov't hands checks to people, people lose the incentive to work, they lose self-responsibility, and they become tone deaf to what other people really need. When you take that away from people you're making sure they're stuck in that pit in their poor communities. There is also that if they do start working and making money, the "help" money will be taken away. When someone is on gov't welfare what they need is dictated by the the gov't, especially they're healthcare, which means waiting lists and the God-forsaken amounts of paper work. It restricts the poor, ties and is unfair tothe middle class, and steals from the wealthy.

@Brian Cevallos ok let's say parent's aren't obligated to give bodily donation to their kids, but it is illegal to kill thier kids. So no, pregnant women do not have an exception. You're asking for justification but I can't give it the way you're asking because letting your kid have a bodily donation is completly different from killing it.

@Franky Acosta But if i pay 5% of my taxes and say you, a millionaire earned a million a year and paid 5% wouldn't it be most fair that way? That way anybody can make a better quality of life for themselves and they paid their fair share just as everybody else. Also the rich could use all the money the gov't takes and give it to charities, it'd be a way of making sure the gov't doesn't get too much power by directing where your money goes yourself. Also spending bills, people will be more carefull and spend less money on useless things.

@Brian Cevallos You called it life ^^ Human life is valuable, being an inconvenience is not justification for iradicting it The difference with pregnant women providing bodily donation is that they are dealing with life and death. Biological parents are legally obligated to give up parts of themselves: feeding their child, getting up at night and losing sleep to make sure their crying baby is ok

The top 10% of earners pay for 75% of the country's taxes and you're in the 10% if you need to make $150,000. Shouldn't everyone pay the same percent of their income? That way how much you work is how much you get.
